The second leadership seminar of Palinure International LLC in brief
(Bangkok, Thailand, Dec 1-3, 2009)

For those who had the precious opportunity of attending the second leadership seminar of Palinure which was held in Bangkok, Thailand, Dec1-3, 2009 it was absolutely an unforgettable experience. In an atmosphere filled with positive energy, sincerity and inspiration a message was delivered, to none, it has ever been similar; ‘’Change the world but one heart at a time’’. That sure enough pinned everybody’s vision to the furthest horizons of achievement and accomplishment.

Mr. Russell (Investment Department) commenced the first day reading Mr. Gardner’s message to the audience.

Then the Greatest Networker In The World , John Milton Fogg, blessed the attendants with his seminal ideas on the empowerment of listening.

Then Mr. Dale (Network Marketing Department) engraved an ever-lasting image on everybody’s mind with his invigorating words that, indeed, touched every single heart present in the seminar.

Mr. Sean (Network Marketing Department) closed the first day with his friendly lecture and believe it or not without Mr. Sean it would have seemed like there was something missing in the event. And it was only the first day. Palinure went on to coin another two days in its log that multiplied the energy and inspiration available in the seminar. But what was remarkably interesting after the first day was how all the leaders automatically formed groups to discuss the ideas presented by the lecturers.

There were traditional performances as breaks presented by Thai dancers and Thai magicians as well and that would complete the first day.

The second day of the seminar was one of those events that one would most probably say: what if I had missed that event?! It started with John M. Fogg talking about speaking and the five most important questions to be asked. He invited everybody to be open to what we don’t know we don’t know for that is where the opportunity lays.

Thereafter, Mr. Dale explored the issue of ‘’personal responsibility to SELF’’ with all the energy and joy he was dedicated to share. He went on to say: ‘’ the man or woman who does not read by choice, is no better or no worse than a man or woman who will not or cannot read’’. Another valuable gift he gave everybody was ‘’It is one thing to hear the possibility for change, see the path and be awakened to the benefit of the positive versus negative control, it is another to walk this path consciously, consistently and with intention’’. The energy soared up when he surprisingly started dancing with a small crowd along with a song and that everybody followed suit.

Mr. Sean nourished the voracious appetite of the leaders with his technical yet simple speech on how to build a great team. He asserted that leadership with a vision was one of the steps to start with. Planning was another important ingredient. And last but not least he asked the leaders to focus on building others. Here are some of his key ideas; be more ‘’interested’’ than ‘’interesting’’. Make them feel like they can’t lose with you.

On the other side, the second day was also a day of traditional performances of the rich Thai culture. The entertaining breaks were barely just breaks. They had much more to offer.

On the same day Ms.Thimson (Project manager of Palinure International) talked about Palinure Entertainment and their plans for future and akso asked everybody to help company in this project much more than before.

Another remarkable point is how leaders took notes on almost everything said in the seminar.

Last day of an unprecedented seminar opened up by John again. However, this time leaders were bestowed the opportunity to ask Mr. Fogg any questions they had in their mind. Mr. Fogg spent almost two hours discussing questions.

Then Sean came to have his words with the audience. An unforgettable part of his speech was the reading he had prepared about the dash line on a man’s gravestone. It was a moving story on how we should deal with the dash which in fact represented our life.

Then Dale came on stage to give everybody a shocking story. It turned out that it was his. His story plain showed everybody that he was there by choice. Then he left everything on the table as he suggested it to everybody to do the same in their lives. The third day was all about surprises. Mr. Dale gave everybody a memento. It was a key. It was a key mounted with a message and a piece of his heart. It was a heart that had prayed for everybody the night before. It was his.

On the third day the chief members were rewarded with their gifts and awards and also some received a copy of Fogg’s new books (Its Time For Network Marketing) with his signature.

Also, there were four of the leaders that were given time to have their words with the audience. Their speech gave the main speakers of the seminar such an impact that they asked the audience to let them have their time to give their special compliments to the leaders.

Mr. Fogg, Dale, Sean, Russell and Mr. Gardner received gifts from the leaders. Finally all the team from company (Mr.Russel, Mr.Dale, Mr.sean and Mr.Tod) cut the second anniversary cake together. Like anything else in the second Palinure seminar the cake, too, came as a surprise, it was the biggest cake anyone in the seminar had ever seen.

Another really interesting part of the seminar was the traditional performances as breaks presented by Thai dancers and Thai magicians and that would complete the second leadership seminar of Palinure in Asia.

The second leadership seminar of Palinure was a legendary manifestation of a vision carried by many for two years. It set an example not only for those involved with Palinure, but for all the companies and individuals who decide to make a difference in the world. It was replete with seminal ideas, insightful knowledge, practical and theoretical techniques as well as a great deal of self development, goal setting workshop, pure sincerity and inspiration. Palinure, indeed, is for us all and it is not the end as promised before…

***In a near future the transcript of all the materials presented in the seminar would be available here.
